Hungarian wine tasting included

Friday was the last day of a study visit, we organised for Hungarian representatives of employers and trade union leaders from the wine sector to the Netherlands. They take part in the project Striking Deals, which has the objective to establish funds for vocational education and training (VET), managed bi-partite by employers and trade unions. Pilot projects are implemented in Romania in the shipyard and in the aviation sector and in Hungary in the agriculture (wine) sector. The project is funded by the Dutch goverment and carried out by Human European Consultancy, the dutch trade union federation FNV and FNV Bondgenoten together with partner trade unions in Hungary and Romania.
As a result of the project employers and the trade union MEDOSZ in Hungary founded KSZABA (Bipartite Training Centre in the Wine Sector Foundation). Their second newsletter describes the impressions of the participants to the first training course, organised for middle management from wine producing companies.
The study visit to the Netherlands focussed on experiences in the cooperation between employers and trade unions in vocational education and training and at the end of the visit our Hungarian partners introduced a selection of their wines in a wine tasting. I do prefer white wine myself and I tasted about six of them and was surprised about their quality.
