Embrace the new year

What is a better choice for my new years wish than sharing the winning poster in the European Commission Breaking Stereotypes poster competition with you.
The last months of 2006 were busy and although I thought about my weblog I did not come to writing. As life is in a tender sentitive organisation as ours there were ups and downs. Unfortunate we were not shortlisted for the Nepal Human Rights project. But we could sign the contract for the Anti-discrimination and Diversity Training project. And we did submit a proposal to Sida, the Swedisch International Development Cooperation Agency, to be selected for a framework contract to provide evaluation services in relation to the civil society sector.
We had our briefing session with the European Commission on the new Anti-discrimination and Diversity Training project, which will be one of the Commission initiatives during the European Year of Equal Opportunities for all. We will organise national seminars in the EU-27 and in Turkey, Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland together with partner organisations in these countries. I will update you on the preparations in this challenging endavour.
